DAP Repair is a sister company to ShopDAP.com, DAP Repair has 2 repair shop locations. One located in Cornelius NC, a few doors down from our warehouse, and the other in Kent OH.
DAP Repair
Our shop was born out of the demand from our warehouse customers and YouTube viewers looking for someone they can trust to help them with their car. We know we have the expertise to deliver Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and VW owners in the Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius and now the Akron Ohio area a dealership alternative repair shop with great service and repairs at a fair price.
Cornelius NC Location
The Cornelius North Carolina location started in 2018. This location started out with 2 bays, and quickly grew. We have since expanded to 5 bays, more equipment and additional staff. This gives us the ability to quickly and accurately help our growing customer base.
In 2021 Duncan Miller joined our team. He came to us as a Audi Master tech and has many years of Audi dealer experience. We were so impressed with his abilities he now manages the shop with precision. He ensures that all vehicles are repaired or diagnosed, as quickly and accurately as possible, while maintain our very high quality standard. He has a unique ability to rally to team to deliver the best possible experience to DAP repair customers!
We are confident that we have the right people in place to offer dealer level of service, repair, diagnostic or performance work on your Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or VW.
Kent OH Location
We know what you’re thinking, with our warehouse and our shop located in North Carolina why would we open our 2nd location in Ohio? The answer to that question is simple…. it’s people!
We have always want to connect with highly talented and motivated European technicians, who are looking to start their own shop. Matt Gilbert is exactly that highly talented and motivated guy. After Matt spent months with us in North Carolina, then went back to Ohio, where he is from to start our second location. Matt has many years in VW and Audi dealers and has amazing attention to detail.
We have already seen what Matt can do, and know that with him running the show the Akron, Canton, and Cleveland area has an amazing Euro shop to service your Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or VW.
The FOUNDER
Paul Barrett got his start working at Keffer VW in 2004. After 3 years as a dealer technician he received and opportunity in the parts department, and 8 months later he was the parts manager. He spent many years as a parts manager working closely with the VW enthusiast community, and created the #1 accessory dealer in the US. In 2012 Paul founded Deutsche Auto Parts a VW and Audi online parts business that offers more than just quality parts at great pricing.
Deutsche Auto Parts (ShopDAP.com) is most known for their educational videos teaching people information about how systems in cars work, as well as how to perform installs on your vehicle.
